An exceptionally well modeled late 19th/early 20th century Austrian bronze elephant with painted bronze tusks. The original patination in dark green/grey, painted tusks and bearing the Geschutzt impressed mark on the underbelly. Approx 8 inches long, 5 inches high and in excellent condition.
