A small but rare original etching of a Border Collie by Herbert Dicksee RE. This etching was published by C E CLifford in 1888 and was exhibited as one of a pair with a staffs bull terrier at the Royal Academy in 1887. Initialled HD in the plate. This example was framed Not framed by us but presented in narrow distressed gilt frame. Overall size including frame approx. 11.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Image size 4.5 inches by 7.25 inches. Excellent condition.
